Breakfast Before Food Shopping
We have all been there before . Right before the big food shopping trip you’re looking for something to make .What do you have ? What can you throw together ?So it’s been awhile since pancakes were made at this house . They are the kids favorite for breakfast . Usually we always make them every saturday at least four times a month . As far as the sugar rush that usually comes to follow . Wanted to find a better way to make them less hyper than they already are since the boys have ADHD .
Pancake Recipe :
1 1/2 cups of gluten free flour
3 tsp of baking powder
1 dash of sea salt
1 1/2 cups of coconut milk
1 large egg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup
5 TBSP of Coconut oil
1 tsp pure vanilla Extract
Usually spray the pan with a nonstick spray and make sure the pan is hot before
Three pancakes is the tester pan cake . it will tell you if you need to lower or higher the temperature of the pan .
Wait for the bubbles around the edge of the pancakes and then flip them .
The kids always like to come into the kitchen to see what they can grab since they know mom is busy . Like stealing all the turkey bacon because who doesn’t like bacon right ? The husband usually joins in on the covert operations of stealing said bacon which makes for a very interesting morning . My oldest is learning to cook so this is the perfect recipe to teach him . Since he has already mastered the art of oatmeal,eggs,and turkey sausage . My little girls love to top theres with some fruit and syrup . For some odd reason the mix just speaks to them . The rest of us don’t make them to fancy at all . Maybe the fact that they smell so good . Could definitely be a reason for that as well . Hopefully it will be a big hit in your home as well .
